Design of large cells

Thanks to the low internal resistance and internal electrolyte cooling, it is possible to design large cells with capacity in an order of magnitude higher than the capacity achievable with existing lithium batteries.


Safety

HE3DA batteries undoubtedly have much better safety parameters. They do not burn or explode due to the absence of organic substances (except electrolyte), low internal resistance and the possibility to operate in potentiostatic mode. The 2D lithium battery technology currently in use has reached it maximum technical potential, even though issues in some areas, especially safety, have not yet been resolved. Manufacturers of these batteries now solely focus on reducing the battery costs by implementing the savings resulting from production in giant factories. HE3DA® technology is still at the onset of utilising its capabilities and has major potential for further development.  

Recyclability

Current recycling costs reach up to 5% of the battery price and are, in essence, a fee for environment-friendly disposal, not recycling.

HE3DA® batteries are 100% recyclable, which results in significant savings.
